CNN.com's "Home and Away" initiative honors the lives of U.S. and coalition troops who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan. The extensive data visualization project tells the story of where and how the lives of these troops began and ended. It includes their name, hometown, age, military unit, photograph if available and a narrative of where and how they died. "Home and Away" also includes a place for the audience to share tributes via iReport, CNN's user-generated news community. Users will able to post messages and memories, whether by text, audio or video.
