Kenyans looking Down Under for new opportunities

(CNN) -- Some Kenyans thinking about leaving their economically troubled country for brighter prospects abroad are looking at the option of going Down Under.

Australia is increasingly popping up on their list of possible destinations to emigrate, alongside more traditional considerations such as the United Kingdom and the United States.

But when it comes down to it, making the decision to leave one's homeland for an uncertain life in a strange place can be difficult.

CNN Nairobi Bureau Chief Catherine Bond meets some Kenyans considering their options.
