An old meatpacking plant on Chicago's South Side is being transformed into an eco farm, which its founders says will produce food sustainably, while creating zero waste.

About the show


Each month, the 30-minute show explores the cities making strides in reducing their carbon footprint, ahead of the Rio+20 Earth Summit in June.

Along the way, a team of experts will examine the planning, environmental and sustainability issues facing today's urban centers, as well as the green initiatives being developed to tackle them.
