A credit report is the listing of your credit history and pertinent information collected by the three U.S. reporting agencies, TransUnion, Equifax and Experian. The report is used by creditors, lenders, insurers and others as a guide for judging your fiscal responsibility. While the three agencies' reports vary slightly, they all contain similar information.
