2001 Nobel Prize schedule of events

The 2001 Nobel laureates will be presented their awards in December. Concerts, symposiums and other events make up Nobel Week, which culminates on December 10, the anniversary of the death of Alfred Nobel, founder of the Nobel Prizes.

The Chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee awards the Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway, while the other prizes are presented by Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf in Stockholm, Sweden.
