Torpedo blamed for sinking

A senior Russian official investigating the Kursk submarine disaster has put the blame on a faulty torpedo, ruling out a collision with another ship or a World War II mine. "There remains only one version -- a torpedo blast," said Ilya Klebanov, Russia's trade, science and technology minister and chairman of an official investigation into the disaster in which all 118 crew died.
