Experts to discuss the attack on America

As part of its ongoing efforts to focus serious and sustained attention on the immediate and far-reaching implications of the terrorist attacks, the Council on Foreign Relations organized a webcast with three New York Times journalists on the growing threat of biological weapons.

Charlie Rose moderated the discussion with Judith Miller, Stephen Engelberg, and William Broad, coauthors of "Germs: Biological Weapons and America's Secret War." The webcast took place at the Council on Foreign Relations New York headquarters on Monday, October 29, from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m. ET.

A nonpartisan, membership organization, research center, and publisher, the Council on Foreign Relations is dedicated to increasing U.S. understanding of the world and contributing ideas to U.S. international policy. The Webcast is archived on the CFR's Web site.
