Bernard Shaw  

Bernard Shaw joined CNN in 1980. A winner of numerous journalism awards, he was live on the scene during the Allied Forces bombing of Baghdad, Iraq, at the start of Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

Shaw also has provided live coverage of such events as the student demonstrations in Beijing's Tiananmen Square, the 1994 earthquake in Los Angeles, the funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997, and President Clinton's impeachment trial by the U.S. Senate.
