Just days after announcing he will extend the U.S. military mission
in Bosnia, President Clinton is to depart Sunday for Bosnia for a brief
Christmas week visit to the 8,500 U.S. troops stationed there.
He will also meet Bosnian leaders before returning to Washington
early Tuesday.
The president plans two stops during a whirlwind one-day tour
Monday -- Tuzla and Sarajevo. Clinton last visited troops in
Bosnia in January 1996.
