Ouch
The "Dreamgirls" sound mixers just spoke and one of them didn't have kind words for 19-time loser Kevin O'Connell. Maybe he should find another line of work, he said, after characterizing him as an "OK" mixer.

Being nominated 19 times is more than enough praise for a great mixer...he doesn't need a statue.

One can only assume that this comment was made by the unlikeable and over rated Mike Minkler, whose mix on "Dreamgirls" was so significantly inferior to the rough mix that test screen audiences heard that many insiders blame the less than stellar oscar reception of the film on Minkler. How ridiculous that he is the one from the production to get a statue.
All of those on the Dreamgirls project are full of themselves and over-rated. For one of the Dreamgirls' sound-mixers to have made this type of insulting and sarcastic jab at Kevin O'Connell for not winning the category after being nominated so many times, shows the ignorance and iodocy of the Dreamgirl's sound-mixer. Geez, I wonder what this fool said the last time Scorcese was nominated for Best Director and didn't win the Oscar? The fifteen minutes of fame for the Dreamgirls is over. It's too bad that won anything last evening.
