DALLAS (CNN) -- A stunt man was killed and another was injured Tuesday during the filming of a stunt for the TV show, "Walker, Texas Ranger."
The stunt involved a ramp and several vehicles at Cedar Hill State Park, southwest of Dallas. Witnesses said a sport-utility vehicle used in the stunt landed badly, crashing into some trees after apparently overshooting its intended landing spot.
According to Sam Lopez, spokesman for Charlton Methodist Hospital in Duncanville, the man killed was 49 years old.
The man injured in the accident was in stable condition at Dallas Methodist Hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening. Neither man's identity was released, pending notification of relatives.
The CBS show stars Chuck Norris, who was not involved in the crash.
