Newman arrives and tries to finagle his way to Paris with the gang by saying a sick family member lives there. "Take me!" he begs to Jerry, who turns him down. "Your day of reckoning is coming!" Newman warns.

SCENE: Aboard the NBC jet
The private jet zooms to Paris, but George is disappointed with the plane. He thought it would be nicer. "You're ruining the whole trip!" Elaine says.
Kramer, still trying to get the water out of his ear, falls into the cockpit. The plane divebombs. "Oh my God, we're going down! We're gonna die!" Elaine screams. "Is this how it ends?" Jerry says. George confesses he cheated in The Contest.
Elaine and Jerry are about to make their own confessions -- in fact, Elaine, insisting that she go first, begins to say, "I've always loved ..." As she is making her declaration, the plane straightens out. It lands in Latham, Massachusetts for repairs. She does not finish her statement.

Jerry and George's parents prepare for a trip to Latham. Jerry's mom makes sure to pack all of her son's cereal so he will have some in prison.

You're genuine. The jury will sense that."
