Today's buzz stories:
NEW YORK (CNN) -- CBS is making a programming change this weekend in response to the crash of Swissair Flight 111 on Wednesday. The network has decided to postpone showing "Final Descent," an action-adventure thriller starring Robert Urich as the pilot of a jumbo jet that can't land after it has a midair collision with a prop plane.
It was scheduled to air Sunday, but CBS felt it would be insensitive to show the film so soon after the Swissair crash off Nova Scotia, which killed 229 people. CBS will instead show "It Could Happen To You," starring Nicolas Cage and Bridget Fonda.

Michael
|
LONDON (CNN) -- The Sun tabloid is reporting that George Michael has backed out of plans to go on a world tour because he is still trying to cope with a string of recent personal traumas. The tour -- the first for Michael in eight years -- was reportedly to have opened next March with a series of concerts in Britain. Earlier this year, Michael, 35, made a public apology on CNN to his fans after being
arrested in Los Angeles on a charge of lewd behavior. He also acknowledged publicly that he is gay. The Sun said he is also coping with the death of his mother last year.

Tori Spelling
|
HOLLYWOOD (CNN) -- It seems TV mogul Aaron Spelling doesn't know his daughter as well as he thinks -- at least, according to Tori Spelling's recent responses to Playboy's "20 Questions." In the October issue of the men's magazine, Spelling reveals she's had sex in the restroom of a Europe-bound plane. Tori also discusses her fantasies about three-ways, oral sex and male masturbation. And she says she admires strippers -- "I think I would be a great stripper." When asked about the interview, Aaron Spelling was not amused. "I've never heard her this vulgar," her father said. But then, he excused her, saying "I think she's being funny -- she loves to put people on."

"Titanic"
|
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (CNN) -- The people who were responsible for churning out 20 million video copies of "Titanic" in time for their shipping date are breathing a sigh of relief. The video of the movie was released this past Tuesday. One inspector at Deluxe Video Services Inc., which has been making millions of copies of "Titanic" for Paramount to release on video, says she worked 36 hours of overtime in one week. "We put our lives on hold while we were doing this," Linda Fisher said. The company gave workers a reward for their hard work -- a free showing of, you guessed it, "Titanic."

Paul McCartney
|
LONDON (CNN) -- Paul McCartney will fulfill one of his late wife's
longtime dreams by releasing a record that she had been working on for 20 years. Linda McCartney finished work on "Wide Prairie" shortly before her death April 17 from breast cancer, family spokesman Geoff Baker said Thursday. The album is scheduled for release by early November. It contains 16 songs, 13 of which were written by Mrs. McCartney, who also sings and plays a variety of instruments on the album. Also featured is McCartney's son, James, 21, playing guitar.
