LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- A jury on Thursday awarded Francis Ford Coppola $20 million in compensatory damages from Warner Bros. after determining that the studio stole his screenplay to "Pinocchio" and acted with fraud and malice in claiming ownership of the script. "The jury found that Warner Bros. interfered with his project and stopped him from making a film we all should have been allowed to see," said Coppola lawyer Robert Chapman. During a tearful testimony, Coppola said the studio thwarted his lifelong dream of making a feature-length "Pinocchio" film. He said Warner Bros. threatened to sue any
studio that tried to produce the movie. Barbara Brogliatti, a Warner Bros. spokeswoman, said the studio would appeal the decision.

Some of the musicians stopped playing long ago, but were rediscovered by guitarist Ry Cooder, who rounded them up in Havana to record the Buena Vista album in 1996.

PIGEON FORGE, Tennessee (CNN) -- In a tribute to Dolly Parton, the Dollywood amusement park will build a roller coaster that resembles the country singer's famous figure. "This ride has big features and curves, just like me," said Parton, who is a partner in the theme park. Besides the large double-butterfly loop, the Tennessee Tornado will drop 128 feet, with a top speed of 63 mph. The park is spending $8 million to build the roller coaster. Dollywood is one of the top tourist attractions in Tennessee. More than 20 million people have visited Dollywood since it opened in 1986. The roller coaster is expected to open next April.
