Pretenders still making people notice
NEW YORK (CNN) -- Chrissie Hynde and her band The Pretenders have been making hit rock 'n' roll records since the 1980s, and they're still going strong. Though they last released an album ("Isle of View") in 1995, The Pretenders are touring this summer with the B-52s, and plan to release a new CD this fall.
Most recently, they were in New York for a taping of VH1's "Hard Rock Live." Before the taping, however, Hynde and company took time to perform a song from their new album. Their segment will air on VH1 Friday, July 10 at 7 p.m. ET.
