Inspired by the 1963 Fellini movie "8 1/2," Storey Emmenthal (Matthew Delamere) tries to cheer up his newly widowed father Philip (John Standing) by turning their Swiss mansion into a harem. They keep 8 1/2 women -- that's eight full-bodied females and one more with no legs -- with whom they act out their sexual fantasies. In this psychological romantic thriller, Demi Moore plays a woman leading double lives. Sometimes she's Marie, a lonely American widow living with two daughters in the south of France.
