HOLLYWOOD, California (CNN) -- Where do they get all those disposable terrorist bad guys? Another big batch of them gets mowed down in "Under Siege II, Dark Territory," the disappointing sequel to Steven Seagal's best movie. This time the terrorists have taken over a train that's hot-linked to a killer satellite, and it's up to Seagal to derail the plan. Not bad -- just ordinary.
On the other hand, there's nothing at all ordinary about "The Usual Suspects." Instantly recommended to adult fans of "Pulp Fiction" and other neo-noir films, "The Usual Suspects" features a spectacular cast providing top-notch performances. Some, like Kevin Spacey's, are possible Oscar candidates. The movie itself is an elegantly twisted maze that will keep you guessing even as the titles are rolling at the end. A viewers note: get your popcorn ready before you hit play, because you have to watch this movie without any interruptions.
See you at the rental counter.
