George Winston returns with 'Seasons'

Web posted at: 5:41 p.m. EDT (1741 GMT)(CNN) -- Grammy-winning pianist George Winston released his first solo record in 1972. That recording, "Ballads and Blues," was a collection of music that inspired him. It was the first step in a remarkably successful career.
Winston also gave Showbiz Today a taste of his latest effort:
Now, 26 years later, Winston has released a new album titled "All the Seasons of George Winston." As the title suggests, the release offers a perspective of Winston over the years.
"I envision it more as an introduction, if somebody hasn't known what I've done," Winston said Monday in an interview with Jim Moret on CNN Showbiz Today. "It tries to give an example of the various longer albums, which are very thematic."
