(CNN) -- Even if the movie "Casablanca" is one of your favorites, you probably missed the news that Murray Burnett died Tuesday at age 87. And if you don't know who Murray Burnett is, maybe you're not a true "Casablanca" fan after all.

Here's looking at the man who started it all -- more than 50 years ago -- when he co-wrote a play called "Everybody Comes To Rick's."
