Elizabeth Taylor to return home soon

Web posted at: 11:00 p.m. EST (0400 GMT)LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Actress Elizabeth Taylor will be released before the weekend from Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where she had a benign brain tumor removed last week, her spokeswoman said.
Despite reports that Taylor might leave the hospital Wednesday, her doctors have yet to make a decision on exactly when they will release her, spokeswoman Shirine Coburn said. She added that the decision will not be made public.
"We would like to be able to have Elizabeth Taylor released in a comfortable and stress-free environment."
Taylor underwent surgery Thursday. Doctors say she continues to "improve greatly" and has an excellent chance for a full recovery.
Taylor, who turns 65 Thursday, has been visited by relatives and friends and is in "wonderful spirits," Coburn said.
