From Correspondent Dennis Michael
(CNN) -- Fans of "Monty Python's Flying Circus" are in search of the Holy Grail in a new CD-ROM based on the comedy troupe's classic comedy film. Unlike certain Norwegian blue parrots, the Monty Python troupe lives on in new technology.
"Monty Python & the Quest for the Holy Grail" has come to
CD-ROM with 40 hours of material to enjoy. Most of the
original 90-minute movie is interwoven with games and
activities that are as riotous as they are politically
incorrect.
Python alumnus Eric Idle worked on the CD-ROM.
"Whenever there's a Python product ... there has to be a
designated Python sitting on it making sure it's something
that we'd approve of or like," Idle said.

The Python troupe find themselves very much at home on
the World Wide Web.
The new "PythOnline" site is slow at times, because thousands
and thousands of Web surfers are accessing it. They join
"The Spam Club," keep up with the activities of the 'Python'
graduates and generally have a great deal of silly fun.
"We're making up the form as well as the content, which is
where we were with Python in the old days when we got into
the television," Idle said. "We were allowed to use the whole
television studio, and nobody told us how to do it. So, we
could just mess around and find ways to explore and be
different."
