(CNN) -- If you're planning a trip to Jupiter, you should pack light because your weight will more than double on the gas giant. "Nine Worlds" is an astronomy CD-ROM that has a sense of humor. It also provides a sense of wonder about our celestial neighborhood as conveyed by someone who has, in a sense, been there. Narrator Patrick Stewart, Capt. Jean-Luc Picard of "Star Trek: The Next Generation," takes what can be a dull subject, and really brings it to life. (32K AIFF or WAV sound)

"Nine Worlds" links directly to your Web browser and makes use of the World Wide Web. You can hook up with NASA and various observatories around the world for those daily discoveries that fortify our extraterrestrial view.

"Where do I begin? We really take that problem out of it," said Steve Feuling of Palladium Interactive, creators of the CD-ROM.
