O'Donnell has another coup in the waiting. USA Today reports that Madonna has promised her good friend and former co-star the first interview after she gives birth. Madonna is expecting her first child in September.
O'Donnell, who worked alongside Madonna in the movie "A League of Their Own," is herself a new mother. Her adopted son is 15 months old.
The former stand-up comedienne mixes self-deprecating humor and self-assured candor as she interviews a daily lineup of celebrity guests.
"The Rosie O'Donnell Show" is syndicated on 160 stations in the United States.
