Meg Ryan and Matthew Broderick are teaming up for a new film. Daily Variety reports Broderick will co-star with Ryan in the comedy "Addicted to Love." The pair will play spurned lovers who get revenge on their ex-lovers, who have moved in together. Shooting starts in September.
Greg Kinnear and Lauren Holly, who paired off in the film "Sabrina," are teaming up again for the romantic comedy "A Smile Like Yours." Daily Variety says the actors will make the Rysher Entertainment film along with Jay Thomas and Joan Cusack. Shooting starts next month in San Francisco.
Tim Allen's summer vacation is officially over. The "Home Improvement" star has begun work on his hiatus film project with Martin Short. "Jungle2Jungle" also stars Jobeth Williams. Daily Variety says the flick will be shooting in New York and Venezuela.
Will Rodney Dangerfield finally get the respect he's always asking for during the season finale of "America's Funniest Home Videos?" Dangerfield will guest star on the June show as the grand prize $100,000 winner is chosen. The show is wrapping up its sixth season.
Tuner Home Entertainment is bringing the Fab Four to video. The Hollywood Reporter says the remaining Beatles are about to announce an agreement to release the expanded 10-hour-long "Beatles Anthology" on video on the Turner label this fall.

Woody Allen will release a new musical this December. Daily Variety reports from Cannes that it will be titled "Everyone Says I Love You." The film stars Alan Alda, Drew Barrymore, Goldie Hawn, Julia Roberts and, of course, Woody Allen.
Rue McClanahan is proving her success as a "Golden Girl" was no fluke. Columnist Army Archerd says the actress is working on "This World." Then she'll move on to "The Fireworks," "Dear God" and "Starship Troopers" -- three features back-to-back.
Actress Gillian Anderson is moving behind the cameras on "The X-files." The Associated Press reports one of the hit series' episodes will be shot from her script. However, Anderson is keeping quiet about details of the story line.

The reign of "Babe" as top pig is over. The film has dropped to No. 2 on Billboard magazine's video sales chart after five weeks at No. 1. The new champ in video sales is "Waiting to Exhale."

Canadian singer Celine Dion continues to rule the Billboard's adult contemporary singles chart. Her track "Because You Loved Me" is No. 1 for the ninth straight week.
Crosby, Stills and Nash are hitting the road for the first time in two years. The band is kicking off a 52-city concert tour. The last was interrupted by David Crosby's liver transplant. The group is straying from its standards, and is putting some unexpected numbers in the show. The band is sharing the stage with Chicago.
Brooks and Dunne are sitting pretty atop Billboard magazine's country singles chart. The group's cover of "My Maria" is No. 1 for the second week in a row. The single is the first cover tune the group has recorded.
