Good jokes were told for a good cause over the weekend at the L.A. Comedy Store. Comedian Jeff Altman and some of his funny friends told jokes for "Care," the charity that benefits children in developing countries worldwide. It's the fourth year for the "Laugh-In," which was organized by Altman.
"Seven" has been a lucky number for the cast and crew of the movie. The Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman thriller has passed the $100 million mark in box office sales.

"Apollo 13" star Ed Harris has agreed to co-star in a new film with Clint Eastwood. "Absolute Power" is about a thief who witnesses a murder. Eastwood will also direct.
Even though Louisa May Alcott was writing books nearly a century before movies were invented, she's about to have a second novel cross over to the big screen. A manuscript written by the author of "Little Women" in 1849 was discovered at Harvard University. More than one dozen film companies, including one owned by actress Meg Ryan, are vying for rights to the story, titled "The Inheritance."

Kevin Spacey will go from portraying one side of the law to the other. The actor, who won an Oscar for playing a criminal in "The Usual Suspects," will now play a policeman in "L.A. Confidential." The film is about a cop who serves as a technical advisor to a TV series about a cop.
You won't be able to see it until June, but you'll be able to hear some of the Disney version of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in a few weeks. The movie's first single, "Someday," will be released to record stores May 28. It's sung by the group All-4-One.
Christmas will be coming early again this year for Rockettes fans. Tickets for the Radio City Christmas spectacular went on sale in New York on Monday. Last year's eight-week holiday run sold out before Memorial Day.
Actor Sean Penn has taken the plunge for the second time. Penn and his companion, actress Robin Wright, were married in Santa Monica, California, over the weekend. The couple already has two children. On a related note, actor Hume Cronyn is preparing to head down the aisle. The 84-year-old widower , who was married to the late Jessica Tandy, is engaged to 60-year-old children's book writer Susan Cooper.
