17 blasts in 70 minutes kill dozens in India

Major cities in India have been put on high alert after 29 people were killed Saturday in 17 near simultaneous blasts in the western Indian city of Ahmedabad, police and government officials say. Several media outlets and the country's Intelligence Bureau had received an e-mail purportedly from the militant group Indian Mujahedeen warning of a possible attack. full story
