POLL: Sixty percent of Americans say divided government is positive
Come January, we will have a divided government which means that we will have a Democratic President and a Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate and a Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives. Overall, do you feel this is very positive for the country, somewhat positive, somewhat negative, or very negative for the country?
Sixty percent of Americans say a divided government is either "very positive" or "somewhat positive," according to a NBC News/Wall St. Journal poll. Thirty-six percent say it is either "very negative" or "somewhat negative."
