Iraq bill follows Bush to Camp David
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The official copy of the Iraq war funding bill has left the White House and is now en route to Camp David for President Bush's signature, according to a senior administration official.
The president is expected to sign the legislation into law Friday night. Instead of a public ceremony, the White House is expected to release a written statement afterwards. -- CNN White House correspondents Elaine Quijano and Suzanne Malveaux |
