Bush visits CENTCOM to discuss operations in Iraq, Afghanistan
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush Tuesday will address a two day conference of top military commanders from some of the countries supplying troops to operations in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
Bush will fly to the headquarters of the U.S. Central Command in Tampa, Florida. The conference, which ends Wednesday, will focus on discussing current and future military operations, according to a Centcom spokesman. Commanders also will discuss future troop requirements. Adm. William Fallon, Centcom commander, is the official host of the meeting. Gen. David Petreaus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, is also attending. |
