Murtha: President pursuing 'failed policy wrapped in illusion'
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Rep. John Murtha, D-Pennsylvania, told CNN's John Roberts Tuesday President Bush's strategy of increasing troops in Iraq is "a failed policy wrapped in illusion."
"We can't win it militarily," Murtha said in an appearance on American Morning. "They have to reach out to the international community. I say this over and over again and they're not doing that. They have to ask international community to get involved like his dad did in the first war." |
