Lawmakers to make visit to Iraq
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Nebraska, and Rep. Joe Sestak, D-Pennsylvania, announced Thursday they will spend three days in Iraq this week to "to examine security, political and economic conditions."
The lawmakers did not offer specific details about their trip other than to say they "are scheduled to meet with top U.S. and Iraqi military, government, and diplomatic officials." |
