Tancredo: Pelosi thinks she is a general in Iraq
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colorado, sharply criticized the Democrats' Iraq war supplemental bill that barely passed the House Friday, and accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, of acting as if she is a "general."
"I am not a general, neither is General Pelosi, even though she thinks she is," Tancredo, who is seeking the GOP presidential nomination, told CNN's Wolf Blitzer. "You know, the folks here in this building are not the people who should be micromanaging this war." (Watch video: Tancredo: Dems micro-managing war) -- CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney |
