Lt. Gen. Kevin Kiley resigns amid Walter Reed scandal
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Lt. Gen. Kevin Kiley has resigned as head of Walter Reed Medical Center, the Pentagon said Monday.
Kiley had been made temporary head of the institution after Army Maj. Gen. George W. Weightman was ousted in the wake of a series in the Washington Post that found soldiers living in deplorable conditions. -- CNN's Jamie McIntyre and Barbara Starr
