Giuliani stresses freedom, shared beliefs at CPAC
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani conceded to the crowd at the Conservative Political Action conference that they may disagree with some of his social stances, but said the majority of his positions are in line with the core of the Republican party.
"We don't all see eye-to-eye on everything," Giuliani said. "You and I have a lot of common beliefs that are the same, and we have some that are different. "We do believe in many of the same things, I'm sure," he added. "We believe in giving freedom to people. I think [that is] the historic mission of the Republican party."
