Army names new director for embattled Walter Reed
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Maj. Gen. Eric R. Schoomaker is the new commanding general of Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the North Atlantic Regional Medical Command, the Army said Friday.
Schoomaker currently is commanding general of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command at Fort Detrick, Maryland. |
