Huckabee picks up support from Congress
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, formally exploring a bid for the White House, picked up support from two congressmen Friday.Republican Reps. Don Young of Alaska and John Boozman of Arkansas will serve as the congressional chairman and co-chairman respectively of Huckabee's exploratory committee, according to a statement. "Last month, Mike formed a presidential exploratory committee because he believes -- as I do - that it's time for Americans to experience a reawakening of the conservative values that make our country a land of opportunity and a beacon of hope and freedom around the world," Young wrote in a letter to congressional colleagues. Huckabee, who was governor of Arkansas from 1996 until early last January, officially formed a presidential exploratory committee January 29. -- CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney
