Hoyer: Rain and Snow will not stop Iraq House debate
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Wednesday the House debate on Iraq will go forward, even as a snow and ice storm has officially closed the federal government.

"The men and women in Iraq are not shutting down because of rain, sleet, snow, cold, hot sandstorm," Hoyer said in a House Democratic press conference. "We are going to be here and we are going to do our work."
