Democratic '08ers to address faithful
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Several presidential aspirants are speaking to their party's faithful at the Democratic National Committee's annual winter meeting Friday.
Six candidates -- three who are fully in the 2008 presidential race, two who are officially "exploring," and one who has not taken any active steps except for acknowledging his interest -- are set to take the stage in what is part initial audition and part political rally. The '08 lineup: Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois Gen. Wesley Clark (Ret.) Former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, will also address the group. On Saturday, four more '08 hopefuls will take the stage. Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware Gov.
