Speaker Pelosi, bleeding Hoya blue, continues winning ways
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's victory celebration continued unexpectedly into the weekend when the first woman to lead Congress was spotted at a Georgetown Basketball game Saturday.
As the scoreboard's camera zoomed in and much of the crowd gave her a standing ovation, a widely grinning Pelosi waved a Georgetown t-shirt handed to her by the Hoyas' mascot, Jack the Bulldog, late in the second-half. Pelosi's husband, Paul, is a graduate of Georgetown as are three of their children. The university awarded her an honorary degree in 2002. Georgetown defeated No. 17 ranked Notre Dame, 66-48. -- CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney
