Romney picks up support from key D.C. Republican insider
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Rep. Vin Weber, R-Minnesota, now a fixture on K Street, has signed on to be an advisor to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney's likely presidential campaign, CNN has learned.
Weber -- lobbyist at Clark & Weinstock -- supported Sen. John McCain's, R-Arizona, presidential campaign in 2000. Meanwhile, another key Republican, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, signed on to co-chair McCain's likely presidential bid. -- CNN Chief National Correspondent John King
