Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth' gets two Oscar nods
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Al Gore may have lost the 2000 presidential election by the slimmest of margins, but the former vice president is hoping his critically acclaimed movie on global warming, "An Inconvenient Truth," experiences a different fate at the upcoming Oscars.
The movie received two Oscar nods Tuesday -- one for best documentary and one for best original song: Melissa Etherige's "I Need to Wake Up." -- CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney
