Gore to attend Academy Awards
NEW YORK (CNN) -- Former Vice President Al Gore, whose documentary on global warming earned two Oscar nominations Tuesday, will attend the Academy Awards next month, a spokesman confirms to CNN.
His movie, 'An Inconvenient Truth,' was nominated for best documentary and for best original song. Gore will be joined by his wife Tipper at the Feb 25 event. -- CNN Producer Shirley Zilberstein
