Bush invokes "Baby Einstein," silent on "surge"
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush's sixth State of the Union address contained roughly 5,577 words. Harry Truman's 1946 State of the Union was the longest ever, weighing in at more than 25,000 words. The shortest message was George Washington's 1790 address, which contained a slender 833 words.
