Biden chooses a presidential campaign manager
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Luis Navarro, executive director of the Florida Democratic Party, will leave his post to head Sen. Joe Biden's, D-Delaware, presidential campaign, the state party announced.
Biden has not officially filed papers to run for the Democratic nomination, but he told CNN's Wolf Blitzer last week that he planned to open an exploratory committee later this month. Before joining the Florida Democratic Party, Navarro held posts with Sen. John Kerry's, D-Massachusetts, 2004 presidential campaign and the Service Employees International Union. -- CNN Political Editor Mark Preston
