Hoyer hopes ISG report will lead to change of policy
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Incoming House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, expressed hope Wednesday the Iraq Study Group's report will lead President Bush to change his policy in Iraq.
"Clearly, it is long past time for a major course correction in Iraq," Hoyer said in a statement. "The President of the United States must adjust his thinking and his policy, which is failing. Hopefully, the Iraq Study Group's report will help instigate the real change that is needed." |
