Harman offers Reyes support
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Rep. Jane Harman of California, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee who was denied the top post by incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, said Friday she fully supports Rep. Silvestre Reyes of Texas as the committee's next chairman.
"I have enjoyed working closely with Silver and other members over four congresses on a committee that I dearly love," Harman said in a statement. "He brings great experience from his work on [the Intelligence Committee], the Armed Services Committee and as head of the Border Patrol in El Paso." -- CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney
