Gore to party with MoveOn members
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Vice President Al Gore is slated to hold a live conference call with thousands of MoveOn.org members who will gather at 1,800 screening parties of Gore's acclaimed movie "An Inconvenient Truth" Saturday night.
Gore will answer questions about the movie and urge the next Congress to address global warming issues, according to MoveOn.org which is sponsoring the event. Gore is also slated to personally deliver letters to Congress -- to be written by the party goers -- urging environmental action. AlGore.com, JohnKerry.com, Sierra Club, stopglobalwarming.org, League of Conservation Voters, Rainforest Action Network, Care2.com, Working Assets and The Alliance for the New Humanity are also sponsors. -- CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney
