Gates photos begin to appear in Pentagon
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A little more than 12 hours after receiving unanimous approval from the Senate Armed Services Committee to be the new Defense secretary, pictures of Roberts Gates began to appear on the walls inside the Pentagon.
His photos also were put on the Pentagon web site last night. Gates nomination still must be approved by the full Senate -- a vote likely to occur this week. -- CNN Pentagon Correspondent Barbara Starr |
