Sen. Burns' voice gone, but hope remains
BILLINGS, Montana (CNN) -- Republican Sen. Conrad Burns' voice is shot. He came down to try and rally supporters here at his headquarters in Billings.
Supporters were a little deflated when they saw early numbers showing Democrat Jon Tester up by 8 percentage points. But a staffer has been working the crowd, telling them the precincts reporting so far skew Democratic and that the numbers will turn in their favor once more precints come in.
