WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Outgoing Sen. Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tennessee, has decided to forgo a presidential bid in 2008, sources tell "The Hotline."
According to "The Hotline" blog, Frist came to the decision "after consulting family, friends and advisers." The decision will be announced this afternoon, the blog reports.
Frist, who became the Senate majority leader in 2002, did not seek a third term.
